As mentionened in the study protocol PA/PH/B-PTS (25) 6, participants are requested not to open the panel box for visual check of the samples before use to ensure integrity of the samples. The panel box is to be opened and the visual check is to be performed only when the participants intends to perform the spiking.
Note: The freeze-dried inocula are very hygroscopic and opening the panel box before use would significantly increase the humidity rate in the box and affect the integrity of the samples.
