TO124 - SURVEY ON POST-MORTEM BLOOD TESTING PRACTICES FOR TISSUE DONATION - PART B

SCOPE OF THE SURVEY

The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare/Council of Europe, as part of a cooperation agreement with the European Commission, is analysing post-mortem blood testing practices in Europe.

The results of the present survey will be used to elaborate a landscape analysis report that will serve as a basis for developing tailored recommendations to improve practices.

The survey is divided into 2 parts. Part A contains questions on post-mortem blood sampling, preservation and transport of blood samples. Part B contains questions on blood testing. This is part B of the survey.

You should have received a word version of the survey by email. It can be used to better plan on the information to be provided through the online survey.

Please note this survey is focused EXCLUSIVELY on blood samples collected post-mortem for donor screening and all responses should be given in respect to these type of blood samples. If screening is performed only on samples collected pre-mortem, the questionnaire should not be completed.

Thank you in advance for your participation in providing valuable information that will enable the improvement of post-mortem blood testing in Europe.
